Essie's 'Fiji'


I have heard so much hype about Essie's 'Fiji' and as a nail polish lover, I had to give it a try myself. I picked it up the other week whilst in Boots and I am SO glad I did! It is the most perfect baby pink colour and looks amazing against a tan which makes it perfect for summer . It can definitely be worn from day to night, I had been wearing Fiji in the day and was heading on a girls night out so added OPI Crown Me Already as an accent nail which is a combo I now adore. Essie are such great quality polishes, and I love the formula. Fiji dries opaque in two coats, which I didn't think it would when looking in the bottle as it looks quite sheer. I have been wearing this on my nails for a few days now and with the help of my Sally Hansen top coat, it is still looking as perfect as it did on day one. The only criticism I have is that the brush is slightly too big for my little finger nail, but that is me being very picky!

I absolutely love this colour and it definitely lives up to all the hype! Have you tried Fiji? What did you think? Or do you have another favourite Essie polish?

      It definitely is! Works perfectly for bigger nails but on my pinky and toes I always need a cue tip! x

    I was impressed with the quality of Essie polishes too. Like you I thought it would take a few coats to become opaque but it only took two!

    Beautiful nail design! Love the combo. I've never tried any Essie polishes, they're just too expensive for me :(

    These are sooo pretty. I want it so it can remind me of my holiday in Fiji...*SIGH*. I wish I could afford it, it's pretty pricey! The accent nail is adorable.

    Beautiful manicure, very stylish and cute ! I like Essie colors but when it comes to applying them I am not as good as when I am using OPI ! This color is very pretty and looks great on your beautiful hands.

    This is so bizarre. . . I just went out yesterday with the object of buying "Fiji," but my store was sold out of the colour! Another Essie polish that I own and love is "Angora Cardi." Like you, I like to glitz up my matte polishes sometimes so I add a coat of OPI's "Cozu-melted in the Sun" over "Angora Cardi."
